What is the difference between Fitness versus Health?
Fitness is the physical ability to perform athletic activity. For instance: I am able to run 1o miles or to swim 1 mile.
Health is the state in which all the systems of the body-nervous, muscular, skeletal, circulatory, digestive, lymphatic, hormonal, etc.-are working optimally.
We can have a person who runs a 10 miles and at the same time has chronic inflammations. Inadequate stress and poor diet are the main contributors.
Our goal is to become not just fit, but healthy.
